UKM manufactures a complete line of manually operated single-fold trapdoors and double-fold ADA compliant ramps for vehicles with curb and high block loading.

UKM Trapdoors:

• Are normally made out of fabricated stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance
• Utilize a service-proven coil spring and hinge arrangement to assist in lifting to the latched position
• Are design-cycle tested in-house prior to manufacture to insure the highest level of service and reliability
• Can be equipped and tested with a variety of detection devices for door and obstruction sensing
• Are heated or non-heated and can be supplied and tested with an appropriate self-regulating or constant wattage heater

UKM ADA Compliant Ramps:

• Can be manufactured from a variety of materials including fabricated stainless steel and cast aluminum
• Are easily deployed utilizing a foot activated latch that automatically raises the secondary panel for the vehicle engineer to lower the ramp onto the high block platform
• Are easily retracted with a telescopic handle that pulls the ramp out and up into the stowed and locked position
• Meet or exceed ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance requirements
