Finishing Capabilities and Quality Assurance

UKM has over 10,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space dedicated to parts finishing, final assembly, and secured storage.

In house finishing capabilities include:

• 14' x 24' Carolina-Virginia combination paint/plasma spray booth equipped with metalizing and manual paint spray capabilities including a TAFA/Praxair 8830 metal wire arc spray system.
• 12' x 24' Binks paint booth equipped with manual and electrostatic spray capabilities
• 10' x 8' x 12' Global Model IFP-10812-S Paint Spray Booth and 10,000 CFM Direct Fired Gas Heated Air Make-up Unit
• 12' x 17' ITI Systems batch bake oven with maximum room temperature of 500 degrees (F°)
• 8' x 12' Clemco sandblast room with pneumatic floor and reclaim system
• 5' x 5' x 4' Bayco parts cleaning oven with maximum room temperature of 700 degrees (F°)
• 20' x 80' assembly floor
• (2) (5) ton Philadelphia Tramrail Co. Overhead cranes with total lift capacity of (10) tons
• 18' W ground level door loading
